Janna Maria Nandzik

Janna Maria Nandzik was born in Oldenburg in the state of Lower Saxony in 1980. Since 1999, she has been mostly living in Berlin. She studied film, art history and modern German literature at the Free University of Berlin and began working as a producer and writer during this time. From 2008 – 2012, alongside Christian Ulmen, she managed two production companies, Ulmen Television and Ulmen Film, in Berlin. Under this umbrella, she wrote, among other things, for the TV show and online series ulmen.tv, created and produced the 6-part sitcom DIE SNOBS – Sie können auch ohne Dich- for 3minutes.de and ZDFneo, and worked as a director, screenwriter and transmedia storytelling strategist on the 14-part cross-media TV series About:Kate commissioned by Arte. She specializes in serial formats as well as transmedia storytelling concepts with original characters and a special kind of humour.
