Award Winners - MIPCOM Diversity Awards

A celebration of diversity and inclusion took center stage at this year’s MIPCOM Cannes, as the winners of the 7th MIPCOM Cannes Diversify TV Awards were announced, spotlight trailblazing programming that promotes and reflects underrepresented voices.


This year’s competition saw entries from 27 countries, with 8 exceptional winners rising from a pool of 24 nominees. Hosted by international journalist and anchor Femi Oke, the ceremony was held in the iconic Palais des Festivals, paying tribute to the industry's commitment to inclusion.

As CEO of the Creative Diversity Network (CDN), Deborah Williams OBE was honored for her decades-long contributions to shifting perceptions around disability and advancing inclusion across TV, film, and theatre.


The Diversify TV Awards are an integral part of MIPCOM Cannes, organized in partnership with key industry figures and advocacy organizations like GLAAD and Minority Rights Group. They continue to inspire the global television community to tell stories that challenge stereotypes, celebrate diversity, and drive change. With 165 submissions this year, the winners represent the best of international efforts to ensure television reflects the richness of human experience.
